Kind, caring, able to administer medication in daily food, pet knowledgeable, experienced in caring for pets. Enjoys rural environments. Clean, tidy, happy to recycle waste and use a compost bin. Responsible and Trustworthy. Prefer single but couples considered.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Mainly caring for Molley a 13 yr old small kelpie cross. Feeding, daily walks, cuddles. Willing to take her outside in winter evenings for her toilet time. Being around for at least half daylight hours and during the night. Occasional nights out to cinema or restaurants is fine.
Keeping house clean and tidy. Twice weekly watering of indoor and outdoor plants.

What are the good features of the property and location

Bush surrounds, quiet. Birds, kangaroos, and plenty of space. 15 min drive to regional town with plenty of facilities, galleries, cinema, restaurants and sporting clubs. Modern home with separate guest section. We are totally off-grid but it is very easy to run the house. No special knowledge required.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Happy to be in Armidale in the winter. Can get cold - we have R/C air-conditioning, panel heaters and a gas fire in lounge-room. Happy to care for older dog who can be a bit slow sometimes. Ok with driving on gravel road to house. Ok with being in rural environment. Internet speed is good but not suitable for fast - work requirements.
