An experienced dog sitter who loves walks as much as our dog and a considerate house sitter to look after our beautiful home and plants

About this assignment

Hello you! Myself and my partner are looking to travel for 3-4 weeks this summer. We have not booked yet so dates are approximate but will be close to those stated. We have a beautiful 2 bedroom house spread across two floors with a lovely garden.

Most importantly we have a rescue ex-working English Setter named Rhia. She's an easygoing and fun company. Trained, well behaved and does not bark. She requires 3 walks a day and she must be on lead at all times.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We're looking for responsible sitters that will respect the design and condition of our house. Will water and look after our house plants and garden and be considerate towards our neighbours.

Regarding our dog, Rhia requires 3 walks per day as she is an ex hunting dog that needs to exert energy and sniff. She requires 1x morning walk for 1.5 hours, 1x evening walk for 45-60 minutes and 1x night walk for 15 minutes to pee and poo. She must be walked on lead at all times. We don't want her to be left alone for more than 6 hours at a time. She mostly relaxes inside the house, wonders the back garden or invites you to play with her squeaky fox.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our house is located in a safe and calm area in North London. There are few parks nearby that offer beautiful walking routes, relaxion and coffee breaks. The park just across the road offers free indoor/outdoor yoga classes by qualified yoga teachers every Saturday morning, open to everyone who wants to join.
Within our local area we have an array of excellent restaurants including the famous Green Lanes for Turkish food.

Turnpike Lane station and Piccadilly Line are 10' away, lots of buses that will take you everywhere in London and a high street with a shopping mall and cinema within walking distance.

Our house is spacious and bright, offering all the comforts and a beautiful garden at the back.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The most important thing of all is our dog Rhia :) So we are looking for experienced, loving and active sitters that will enjoy spending time walking her outdoors as much as she does. This is a big dog commitment. If you are working from home or just want to enjoy the city with a dog companion then this could be the perfect sit for you. No rent, no bills, just a friendly exchange.
