Kind, respectful communication. Flexible, okay with a casual setting. Strong and confident enough to safely walk a large dog who pulls for squirrels. Ideally take him to the dog park every few days or as often as you want.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walking and feeding (including medication) for dogs. Feeding chickens, checking on their water and doors. Water a few plants. Be cautious with door and gate to keep one from running off.

What are the good features of the property and location

Kid friendly- games/toys, trampoline, kids' rooms. Across the street from a park with playgrounds and tennis courts. Easy walking distance from cemetery/arboretum and nice grocery stores. Close to downtown Davis. Bikes to borrow. Roku for tv, good kitchen appliances, hammock, tables in front and back yards for eating outside.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We're not too picky, mostly want to just find stuff where we left it. Want you to feel comfortable and able to enjoy the house, the yard, the surrounding area, and the animals.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: Our dogs are fine with other dogs. Take care with chickens, please.
