Christmas in Barcelona with two senior cats

About this assignment

Hello. My husband and I are looking for someone who is clean, trustworthy and who genuuinely loves cats and has experience with senior cats. We adopted two rescue cats: Wilco (the tuxedo cat) is 12 years old and Ant is 16 years old. Basically, someone who can keep them company morning and night. They sleep during the day.

Start date is Tuesday, 23rd December and we return on Thursday, 1 Janaury 2026 = 10 days. We are aware of the sitter needing to book flight, train, etc. and so we are flexible in the overlap. However the start and end dates are important

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

--Keep the cats company. Play with Wilco three minutes a day.
--Clean two litter boxes frequently every day.
--Give kibble in the morning for both cats.
--Give wet food for breakfast and dinner.
--Clean up any vomits of hairball or food.
--Make sure Wilco doesn't eat Ant's food.
--Change 3 water bowls morning and night.
--Try to comb Ant and Wilco (if possible)
--Look after my urban garden on the rooftop of the building and plants in the patio.
--Keep house tidy and clean.
--Enjoy your stay and visit beautiful Barcelona.

What are the good features of the property and location

Good features of my property and location are:
Location:
--20 minutes on foot to Sagrada Familia.
--15 minutes on foot to Parc Güell.
--3 metro stops to city center.
--close to metro station.
--buses to city center and train station.
--lots of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, market, etc.
Property:
--great neighbors, quiet. breezy. A/C, patio, rooftop terrace.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We adopted two rescue cats. Wilco is almost 13 years old. He is very affectionate and likes to play with the feather wands. Ant is scared of strangers.

Can I bring my own pets?
