Peaceful home directly at the sea and adorable cat in need of a sitter from 19th Oktober till 28 February north-germany, view towards denmark

About this assignment

We are looking for a responsible, tidy, positive animal/nature-loving individual (non-smoking,please) to be entrusted with our lovely cat Tomás and our home at the waterfront in a nature refugium in the north of germany. Great if you already have experience in cat-sitting.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We would need someone who don’t mind pets sleeping with them.

Please care for our 8 year old cat Tomás, he needs to be fed 2-3times a day in small portions, he enjoys company very much, will follow you outside in our beautiful garden and likes to hang around or even cuddle, especially in the evenings/nights and early mornings.He might not always be in the mood for stroking, though. He doesn't like to be lonely, even though he sleeps a lot, and he'll make himself noticeable with meowing when he longs for company.
Tomás is a hunter, but keeps his 'gifts' like mice mostly outside. He uses a cat flap.
If he really likes you, he'd be happy to sleep in your bed aswell.
Make sure to give the option of a litter tray whenever the weather is bad, but usually he uses the garden.
Care for the house as well like keeping it tidy and with respect.
We appreciate some updates like once a week, text or photo, about our little cat and whenever there's something unusual or questions.

What are the good features of the property and location

Its a two-storied house in the countryside with a view towards denmark, with stairs, individual inner equipment, gorgeous view of the water front, great for hiking routes and kite surfers will enjoy it here. Bike possible. There are golf-walking-trails and a bus to Glücksburg (3.5 km) and Flensburg and Denmark is in reach as well. Huge Siemens-kitchen with enough space for cooking, television, ethernet connection, big comfortable designer-sofa and dinner table, shower, luxury-bathtub, bidet, separate WC, big garden, private stairs down to a natural beach, huge SUP, 2 terraces, calm neighbourhood, hindsberg piano, pear tree :)

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Tomás is looking for someone he can cuddle up to at night and feel safe with over the New Year holidays.
Just 3 flowers will need watering, but not an extensive garden. Please do not wear shoes inside the house and keep the place tidy.
An hourly bus is a 6-minute walk away.(from Glücksburg every 30 minutes.
Security camera is in progress.
We'd be happy if you feed the sparrows and finches etc. outside in the garden daily aswell!
We'll be in reach to be contacted whenever you have questions.
A car is recommended.
It may be possible to split the stay into separate parts.
