About this assignment
We would like to have somebody to look after our two small dogs - Bella & Coco. They are friendly, will like to sit next to you, and be taken out for a walk everyday.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feeding the dogs twice a day - between 7am and 7:30am and at about 5:30pm.
We walk then once a day, normally in the afternoon though they will not object to going out earlier in the day.
Water the plants in the back garden. Depending on how warm it is, 2 or 3 times a week. Most of our small garden is watered automatically., it is the pot plants that have to be done manually.
Rubbish is collected on a Monday morning so the bins need to be out on the street the night before.
What are the good features of the property and location
House is 3 bedrooms and 2 full size bathrooms.
The neighbourhood is very safe. We are part of a HOA and have 24 hour security services driving around the streets.
Lots of places to walk and ride bicycles
Local supermarket is nearby. One of my frequent walks with the dogs.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Coco is 15 years old. She has slowed down quite a lot over the last 6 months. She does not walk very far and 30 minutes outside wth her is more than enough.
Can I bring my own pets?

A Joyful Sit
We had a wonderful time sitting for Tim & Lorrie. It was pleasure to spend time both in their spacious house, but also enjoying the sun in their lovely garden. Lorrie raises Monarch butterflies, and there was at least one floating overhead every time I was in the garden. We loved spending time with their dogs Coco and Bella... such sweet dogs. They live in section of Alameda that's has many canals. And walking along the canal especially at dust the light and the reflection of the buildings that lined the canal was amazing. Overall this was a fantastic sit and one I do again in an instant.
