About this assignment

Someone who is willing and able to 1. spend much of the day with my older, very sweet French bulldog Rihanna (Ri) and 2. respect and care for my beautiful home.
They also need to be willing and able to carry Ri (20lbs) up and down two flights of stairs a couple times a day.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Taking Ri to nearby parks at least twice a day for at least 30 minutes each. She doesn't need/like a lot of exercise but she enjoys being outside. Giving Ri her daily medicine and monitoring her food intake. Ideally sleeping with her and giving her lots of cuddles.

What are the good features of the property and location

I purchased my home last year. This is part of the write up from the real estate brochure. Very accurate!

With 2 levels of living space & a private panoramic roof deck framing the Golden Gate bridge and the bay, this stunning penthouse condo boasts 4 bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms. On the main level, the open-concept LR & DR area features a wall of south-facing windows & a gourmet kitchen equipped w/ Subzero fridge, Thermador appliances, central island and custom cabinets. Offering privacy between the public and private spaces, the hallway serves 3 well-proportioned bedrooms, 1 bath & a chic powder room. A private roof decks offers unparalleled views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts. Hardwood floors & designer finishes throughout.

Also: Cable + most streaming services and strong WIFI. Within blocks of multiple beautiful parks. Close to restaurants, shopping, coffee etc.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Are they willing/able to spend a lot of time at home relaxing with my dog (and enjoying the space and the views!). She doesn't need or want constant attention - it's fine if you're working/reading/watching TV etc. - but I don't want her to be alone for more than a few hours a day.
Willing to care for an elder dog? Watch her closely to make sure she doesn't eat something she shouldn't (allergic to chicken).

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
