Looking for 4 weeks house sitter in West Oxfordshire
Dates: 17th July - 14th August that can deal with any issues that arise. Other dates: 14th August - 3rd October
and look after two Hermann tortoises

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

About the site:
We have a large property in West Oxfordshire, in a lovely and lively market town and are looking for a responsible person to be on site while we are away and be able to deal with any issues that might arise. We will be of course reachable and have good friends and neighbours, but someone able to keep indoor plants water, forward the post, pots watered
We are also looking for someone to look after our two Hermann tortoises (5 years old), place them outside in their enclosure in the morning and back indoors at night

What are the good features of the property and location

We have a nice newly refurbished ensuite on the second floor that you will be able to use. You will be able to use the kitchen, dining room and downstairs toilets and the entire garden. Nothing else is shared, except the laundering facilities.

We are looking for someone happy to contribute 50% of the electricity/gas bill.

We are at the border between Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire, with plenty of beautiful sites to visit. There are good bus connection to the towns.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We would consider one person who is a non smoker, with experience and/or references for this sit.

Please note that there is no television in the house and no TV license, so it is not possible to stream live TV

There is only one parking spot that will be used for our car, so if you have a car, you will have to consider park it in the street, which is absolutely fine, as we do that ourselves with our second car.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
