My home is in Waikap?, a peaceful, more rural area of Maui with cooler temperatures—perfect for relaxing after a day out in the sun. I'm centrally located, just 10 minutes from the nearest beach, 5 minutes to the closest grocery store, and within easy reach of all the island’s main attractions.

The house is a small, comfortable 2-bedroom, 1-bath with a fully equipped kitchen, great natural light, and a cozy vibe. It’s the perfect base for exploring the island while enjoying quiet evenings at home with my pups.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

- You must love dogs and be confident handling two at once—they’re sweet, but strong with a few quirks!
- At mealtime, you’ll need to play referee—they may try to steal food from each other, so they are fed at different areas.
- Benny (smaller) does not get along with other dogs, so being alert and walking a distance away from other dogs is key.
- Both dogs will try to chase cats, so be alert on walks.
- Sheriff (the bigger one) may bark occasionally in the backyard and needs gentle correction.
- They’re allowed on the furniture, so you’ll need to be okay with doggy cuddles on the couch and bed.
- My home sits on a steep hill, so be prepared for daily uphill and downhill walking.
- Overnight stays every night are required—they’re used to companionship and a consistent routine.
- Please treat the house with care and keep things clean and tidy during your stay.
