About this assignment

We need a house sitter who is experienced with a wonderful high energy rescue Pup. (pointer lab cross) if you could continue with her training that would be grand, you will need to be patient with her. She is used to running with me - so if you are a runner that would be ideal if not she also loves her walks. We also need you to feed the Budgie!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We are looking for someone who will walk the dog 2 times a day, long one through the woods in the morning and shorter in the afternoon and then a toilet walk in the evening.
We would also need you to feed the budgie and maybe water the plants a couple of times.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside with woods a short walk away. we have glorious views across the valley in front of us. Wonderful neighbours who will be on hand if you need anything. We have a woodland garden complete with artist studio, that you can have complete access to. (up some steps) The house is a stone built terrace that is decorated eclectically with lots of plants. There is a wood burner in the front room and it also has central heating and a combination boiler. There is a bus service from just outside the house to Chatsworth and to Matlock which has access to buses to the Peak District. There is also a train line from Matlock with access to Derby, Sheffield and Nottingham.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Please consider if you can be patient with a rescue pup. She enjoys life and is very enthusiastic about most things! Also we are at the top of a hill and a 30 mins walk to the closest shop. There is a bus that goes down to Matlock and the shops that goes from front of the house.
