About this assignment

Looking for a house and dog sitter from Sept.30 thru Oct. 15, 2025. Must have good references and love dogs. Either a single person or a couple.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities include keeping the house clean and tidy, and looking after my two dogs. Both dogs are around 40 lbs. (18 kgs), are relatively well behaved, and can be left on their own up to 5 hours at a time.

What are the good features of the property and location

My house is right on the water and enjoys great views of the cove and spectacular sunsets. The house is located on Aquidneck Island, and 25 minutes from Newport, Rhode Island.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

House sitters need to be responsible occupants, and considerate of my dogs. The house is in a residential neighborhood and not close to any public transport, so a car is required.

Can I bring my own pets?
