About this assignment

I’m looking for a patient and loving pet sitter for my dog and cat. My dog deserves all the attention and calm he needs. When walking him, it’s important to give him the space to decide where he wants to go. Once he’s done his business, it’s best to calmly head home without focusing too much on rushing or pulling on the leash. He finds car rides, trams, and buses stressful, so it’s better not to take him on those.

My cat Droppie spends a lot of time outside and loves to use his bedroom cat flap to come and go. Please make sure not to block the cat flap with any objects so he can move freely. Sometimes he gets a bit scared and hides under the blankets or behind the wardrobe. When that happens, please give him time and space to come out on his own. He loves food and treats, but be careful—if he finds something, he’ll eat it right away.

At home, you can pet my dog gently, but always give him time to get used to you. He’s not a lap dog, but he’s very sweet and loyal. It’s important to respect his pace and approach him with kindness.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We are looking for a patient and caring pet sitter for our dog and cat. The sitter will be responsible for providing loving attention and ensuring their well-being while respecting their individual needs and pace.

Care for both dog and cat with patience and kindness.

Walk the dog, allowing him to choose where he wants to go without rushing or pulling. The dog must always remain on leash during walks.

Pick up the dog’s poop promptly, especially in public areas where others might step in it.

Ensure the cat flap remains unobstructed so the cat can freely come and go.

Do not take the dog in the car, tram, or bus, as this causes him stress.

Provide calm attention and allow the pets time to get comfortable with you.

Make sure the cat does not eat anything harmful and avoid giving unhealthy treats.

Keep the living space clean and safe for the pets.

Place any incoming mail in the living room if there is mail.

Optionally water the plants if needed.
