About this assignment

Cat-lover/s, good with nervous animals (don't worry they are super-gentle, just shy) and who will keep our plants alive and well while we are away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Give pots, flowerbeds, windowboxes a good soaking 3 times a week. Feed our cats twice a day.
Scoop cat litter 1-2 times a day and change completely twice weekly
Lawn moving would be a bonus.

What are the good features of the property and location

Clean air, green fields and birdsong though only 30 mins drive from centre of Dublin. Lovely sunny patio for outdoor dining/communing with nature. 10 mins drive from several spectacular walks over the moors, mountains or forests. 15 minutes drive to the legendary Johnny Fox's Pub (the highest pub in Ireland, famed for its Irish culture nights and humming vibe). Enjoy the buzz of Dublin City (Guinness Storehouse, Book of Kells/Trinity College, National Gallery, Museum of Modern Art, Temple Bar Cultural Quarter, restaurants, bars, pubs) and come back here to recharge. Merry Ploughboy Pub 10 minutes walk (2 minutes drive).

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You definitely need a car (bus to city centre/shops is 10 minutes walk!). Nearest supermarket 6 minutes drive. Our house has just one (lovely) bedroom and is not suitable for children.
