About this assignment

We are looking for someone to keep our fur goblin, Salma, company, water the plants and grass if needed, and enjoy relaxing in this apartment with a terrace and lake view.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We expect the house sitter to look after our cat, Salma, and give her plenty of affection. She’s an outdoorsy cat, meaning she spends most of her time relaxing in the garden or practicing her hunting skills by the lake. When you're out, she should be inside and not left alone outdoors. Most of the time she comes when called — and if not, treats are her weakness and always do the trick!

Other than that, just keep the house in good condition, water the houseplants (and the grass outside if needed), and enjoy Warsaw — there's so much to explore and experience!

What are the good features of the property and location

The property is located just 3.9 km by car from the airport (or a 2.7 km walk), and 8.8 km from the city center. Despite being close to the airport, airplane noise is not an issue, as the landing strip is on the opposite side.

There is a nearby bus stop with easy connections to the metro and tram lines.

At the house, you can enjoy a terrace with a lake view, high-speed internet, access to multiple streaming platforms (Amazon Prime, Netflix, HBO, Disney+, SkyShowtime, etc.), a fully equipped kitchen, and two mountain bikes.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Salma is “taking care of her business” outside, so if you’re out exploring the city, please remember to come back and let her out in the morning and evening — kind of like a dog. ?
She has a litter box at home and, if there’s no other option, she will use it — but she’ll be nervous.
Other than that the place has everything you might need, but keep in mind that parking can be a bit tricky. If you're coming by car, you may need to circle around a bit before finding a spot.
