About this assignment
I will be away for a 1-week mid-winter vacation and need someone to help feed and care for my playful, feisty, happy cat. And ensure plants are watered.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Mostly, feed my cat twice/day and clean the litter box daily. Petting/playing with my cat and ensuring he is loved is my main hope for finding a house sitter.
What are the good features of the property and location
My apt is in an incredible co-op building with fantastic neighbors in the northern tip of Manhattan. Images show off our beautiful rooftop, but maybe easier to stay inside during the winter!
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
This is a small one-bedroom apartment with a murphy bed in the bedroom to utilize the space fully. The subway to midtown is just 2 blocks away and commuting to midtown would take about 25 minutes. This apt is a little haven for me and my young daughter. There will be limited closet space due to us putting most of our items in them while we are away, but it will be a very comfortable home for you!
