What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities include coordinating general property upkeep, gardening, security, coordinating with local service providers. A few times a year we will have friends / friends of friends stay at the house. There is a cleaner who prepares everything but we'd want you to know what is happening. It is a property that rewards when it's shown a bit of love - so we'd want someone willing to undertake hands-on, light maintenance and enjoy the opportunity.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house feels a million miles away from the busyness of life, yet everything is close at hand – the vibrant town of Aix-en-Provence, plus the airport and TGV just 30 minutes away, and two charming villages only 5 minutes down the road. The property is fully equipped, benefits from fibre optic internet, and offers the best of countryside calm with modern comfort.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We need someone or a couple who can commit to a minimum of 6-months - starting October 2025. There is the potential for the engagement to extend beyond this providing the arrangement works for everyone.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: But pets would need to be kept to the attached cottage / living area with scooping duties applied to keep the gardens clean dog
