Well maintained country retreat- bird lovers paradise

About this assignment

We just need someone to keep Stella company and keep her food & water bowls full. I'm hoping our house sitter also enjoys nature and perhaps birdwatching. We have a homegrown national park here.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We have a super easy, sweet, fun 13lb 11 year old Maltese/Poodle (Maltipoo).The biggest responsibility will be keeping Stella company. She self feeds but needs clean water and food and water bowls filled when needed. She can simply be let out or take short walks down the driveway or on our paths. No lease needed. She always gets 2 treats (she can count) when she comes back inside. She is OK being left for 6-8 hrs. She love a bit of playtime tug of war or throw toys.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a c1920's updated, Farmhouse on a lovely 10 acres surrounded by native meadow and woods. It is a bird lovers paradise. Our home is well cared for & clean. We have Starlink high speed WiFi and TV Streaming service. 15 minutes to grocery, 60 minutes to Wash DC. close to hiking, state parks, Shenandoah river etc.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We depart for an overseas vacation the afternoon of September 8th and return the evening of Sept 23rd. Those are the dates we need covered, please
