NYC Manhattan - sitter needed for 2 cats - Sept 21-30

About this assignment

We would love to find someone who loves cats to come and take care of our our babies while we are away for a week.

We are looking for someone who is low key and will spend time at the apartment - someone who has a remote job would be great as we work from home and the cats are used to people being around often.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Our cats:
Mischief: 12 years old. She free feeds, so you just need to make sure her food bowl is full at all times (if it gets empty she gets stressed). Mischief likes to be in the same room and likes to be pet, but she is not a lap cat. She does not like to be picked up or held. She is very sweet and loving.

Atlas: 2 years old. Super cuddly, very sweet, needs lots of playtime. Also free feeds.


We also have a couple gold fish in a tank that will need to be fed every day.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have a big beautiful apartment in Manhattan. You will be staying in our guest room with a queen size bed.

There are Large windows throughout the apartment , lots of light!
The apartment is very spacious, wood floors, exposed brick walls.
Huge living room/large kitchen.
Large bathroom with a standing shower.
Apartment is on the 7th floor we have an elevator!
Location:
Upper Manhattan in Harlem. it is a very convenient location to be able to get anywhere easily! (Only 4 blocks to subway)
-20 min to Time Square
-Grocery store right across the street
-Laundry just around the corner

Our big beautiful apartment is located in upper Manhattan in Harlem. You can get anywhere in the city easily by subway or bus. New York City is full of amazing things to do every day, many museums, incredible food, and lots of sites to see!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

If you are just looking for a free place to stay in NYC and don't care about the cats please do not apply. While we do not expect someone to come and never leave the apartment we also do not want someone who is only here to sleep at night but will be gone out in the city all day every day.
Non-smokers only please as I am allergic and even residual smoking smells give me asthma attacks.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
