Peace, Quiet & Nature in rural N.W.Bulgaria in Vratsa region

About this assignment

We are looking for a kind, fit, tidy couple who are experienced with dogs and cats and happy to be in a small quiet village which has 2 shops and a post office. You will live in the 2 bedroom guest house and care for 2 dogs & 2 cats in the garden and our house next door.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Care for the cats and dogs and the houses and garden where possible. The cats are fed twice daily and the dogs once daily and walked once daily if good weather. It would be helpful if the sitters can switch off mains in the day and back onto mains at night, to manage our solar system, although this is not necessary. The cats are indoor cats and the dogs sleep indoors but play outdoors on nice days.

What are the good features of the property and location

Beautiful nature surround the property and the location in North West Bulgaria. An opportunity to experience real Bulgarian language and culture in a safe and friendly village. My property is 4000m2 with a small forest, an orchard, a vegetable garden and many seating areas to listen to and watch the diverse wildlife. Within 10 minutes drive there is a railway station, just 2.5 hours from Sofia. Within 20 minutes drive there is a modern city with all amenities including hospitals, restaurants and supermarkets etc.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We need people who are happy to commit to a minimum of 2 weeks and are happy to be at our home mornings and evenings, for the animals.
