What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

We need care for our small adopted Maltipoo, Zoe. She needs to be the only dog please. She was attacked by big dogs for the first 8months of her life and still periodically growls at other dogs, So, we build in a few days before we actually leave, for you to visit with us and learn how easy she is to deal with, if you know dogs and can provide strong leadership so she can trust you and you can create a safe environment for her.
A walk each day is good and possibly more for Zoe, who is still is pretty energetic. Zoe loves to chase balls and in doors she will chase any soft toy you throw. We have a dog door so she can go in and out during the day. As long as you leave lots of water, she can be left a good part of the day while you explore our gorgeous area.
You will be responsible for keeping the areas that you use clean and tidy. also we have a beautiful landscape garden that is mostly watered by a drip system and a sprinkler system that there are certain newer plants in the backyard that require extra Watering each night. We also have two Fern plants that sometimes need to be moved inside if the weather is a problem

What are the good features of the property and location

What you will love about this home is that nature is out every window. All of our windows face the woods, letting trees and the sun into the living areas. The guest bedroom, that you will use, is spacious with inviting bays windows. The living room looks out over a patio surrounded by terraced landscaping. Out the relaxing front porch, sits a small pond. We are on a beautiful 3 acre parcel with 2 ponds. The home is all on one level coming in from the paved driveway.
What you will love about this neighborhood
Our home is situated on a private road with less than a dozen houses spread out over about half a mile. If you want peace and quiet, this is it. We are less than 2 miles to historic Nevada City with its many restaurants and shops. Easy access to Sugar Loaf trail. Close by are all the wooded bicycle trails and the Yuba River.
Additional information. Victorian Christmas is celebrated in December with numerous fairs, music and celebrations. Or small town and Grass Valley next door, has numerous parades and celebrations for various holidays.
We ask that you leave the house nice and clean like you will find it. The pond closest to the house makes the house unsuitable for

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Zoe started out life in a bad environment where she was thrown out with a bunch of big dogs and was attacked over and over. So she does not do really well if she has to share attention with another dog or another dog is around with her food. She is generally interested and happy to see other dogs on the trail. If she feels overwhelmed she will just growl at them and they generally get the message. Really no problem but worth knowing
