About this assignment

Single person or couple to take care of my home and cat while I am away so that I can feel relaxed and secure knowing they are being well cared for .

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Normal house upkeep so that it is tidy and clean when I come home.
Some hand watering of outdoor plants ( especially in hot spells)
Collecting the mail.
Communicating to me if there are any problems that need attention ( eg plumbing issues, cat needs to go to vet etc)
Taking care of my cat - feeding, cleaning litter box, letting him in/out

What are the good features of the property and location

I live in a very safe , friendly neighborhood in Oceanside and close to Vista, and about a 15 minute drive to the coast and downtown Oceanside.
My house is 4 BR/ 2 1/2 BA with a pool. and a nice yard. I have wi fi.
Guajome Regional Park is close by with nice walking trails.
I am close to both the 76 and 78 freeways

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I am hoping to find someone who would be a good fit and available 2-3 times a year.
I go to visit my daughter in N. Carolina for a week to 10 days several times a year; and also to New Zealand for 4-6 weeks usually in Jan/Feb to visit family.

Can I bring my own pets?

No, sorry.
