What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Looking after one dog, Jessie, and one cat, Kit, along with a few sheep(7) and chickens (8) The dog and cat live in but run free all day so there is no need for 100% care. The sheep just need observation but the chickens will need top ups of food and water - the eggs produced are free to the sitter.

What are the good features of the property and location

We are situated in the country, no neighbours, but can see the local village over the valley. It is very quiet and relaxing with all amenities close by. We are a bit brown at the moment after a spell of very hot weather. The walled garden is particularly private and good place to enjoy evening sun

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Transport is necessary even though our village is only 1 kilometer away and to enjoy visits further away. Beautiful varied countryside and plenty of places to eat out. The farm is off main roads and can be very quiet. Good place for a quiet read, or base for serious exploring.
