House Sit with 2 dogs in Fort Mill, SC!

About this assignment

A kind animal lover who is trustworthy. Someone who is comfortable with dogs and have taken care of dogs prior. Be comfortable with a bigger dog. Walter (chocolate lab) is 100 lbs and Scully (border collie) is about 45 lbs.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Taking care of the dogs would be the sitter's main priority. They are pretty low maintenance. They require letting out to go do their business and play fetch to get a bit of exercise. Scully loves going on walks.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is a 4 bed, 3.5 baths, 2900 sqft in size. We have a big open kitchen, a living room with a big TV, a fireplace, and a great big couch to nap on. It is a suburban neighborhood with trails throughout, and one trail takes you down to the river. There are very friendly neighbors on both sides of the house. Our fenced in yard backs up to a wooded area. You can enjoy hanging out on the hammock, the patio, or the deck with a screened-in porch.

The sitter will have their own bedroom with a king size bed and a dedicated full bath. There is a walk in closet for them to store their clothes and other personal items.

The best part about our growing town is Anne Spring Close Greenway. There's a small entrance fee for non-members. It is a 2000 acres green space full of activities for people of all ages to enjoy. The Greenway is less than a 15 min drive from our house. We cannot say enough good things about it! Our downtown maybe small compares to some, but there are some great local restaurants! We are about 20-30 minutes from downtown Charlotte.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We have a hard set date for leaving so please apply if you can absolutely make the listed dates. We can be flexible if you need an extra day or two prior to starting and/or ending.

Our animals are easygoing. Just be comfortable with a 100 lb dog :-)
