I'm looking for someone who loves dogs to be with Momo, my 4-kilo dog, while I am away. She is very sociable, loves to play and doesn't like to be alone. She can be left alone for a couple of hours, but she is also happy to come along wherever you go. I also want a few potted plants to be watered, and to keep an eye on the pond levels and let me know if/when it rains (so I can adjust the irrigation from an app.) I am also flexible with dates so please contact me if you're interested in a sit.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

You'll be responsible for Momo and keeping an eye on the property, which entails a walk approximately once a day around to check the water levels of the large pond and two smaller ones.

I live on a beautiful retreat in the Algarve with a huge swimming pond. It's ideal for someone who wants to get away from urban life and wants to be in nature. There is an on-site studio with almost daily yoga and pilates classes offered by excellent local teachers, which you could join. What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

If you are looking to sightsee around the Algarve, then we aren't a good fit. You can take Momo to the nearby towns of Fuseta, Tavira, Olhao and Faro to see them but longer trips aren't really suitable for her to travel or for you to leave her for so long.
