I am looking for a kind and reliable person who truly loves cats. My cat is sweet and affectionate, but she also needs someone who respects her routines and can give her gentle care and companionship. Experience with cats is preferred, and I value responsibility, honesty, and a genuine love for animals.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
The main responsibilities will include feeding my kitty twice a day, refreshing her water, cleaning her litter box, and spending some time playing with her or keeping her company. She enjoys affection and routine, so I need someone who can make her feel safe and cared for. Making sure the house stays tidy and secure is also important.
What are the good features of the property and location
My home is located in Zanzibar, close to the beach and surrounded by a peaceful and authentic local atmosphere. It is a safe and comfortable property where you can enjoy a relaxed lifestyle. The area has beautiful nature, friendly people, and stunning sunrise . It’s a unique chance to live in a tropical paradise while caring for a lovely cat.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
This assignment requires someone who is responsible, clean, and truly enjoys the company of cats. Please consider if you are comfortable staying in Zanzibar and adjusting to the island lifestyle. The climate is warm and tropical, and sometimes power or internet can be less stable. Most importantly, my kitty deserves affection and care every day, so I need someone fully committed.

Great opportunity to experience Zanzibari life with a wonderful cat
Arriving at Romina and Riccardo's place it instantly felt like accidentially having arrived in paradise. The atmosphere at their place is super nice, the beach is litterally just a door step away, and the warm welcome made me instantly feel like part of the family. I got great recommendations both for looking after Peppita as well as moving around the island. Being in Africa, things may go different from plan, but Romina and Riccardo were making sure that staff and friends were available for me during their trip, and communication with them was easy. Charming little Peppita is a heart breaker, she is easy to care for and liked to hang around me when not taking a nap; she eats her medication when time for it, and of course she quickly figured out how to make me melt and give her an tiny treat on the side. I really enjoyed her company, as she warmed up quickly after her owners had left. Peppita definitely was the main reason why I felt like being at home away from home.

Beautiful people, a beautiful place, and the most loving animals
I highly recommend Romina and Riccardo as hosts for housesitting. Their number one concern is the health and happiness of their animals. Above all this is what made me fall in love with them. They provided a lovely comfortable, clean guest house for me, right along the ocean, with incredible sunrise walks. The beauty of the area is astounding. And Romina and Riccardo were so generous and kind. They made sure I had everything I needed. They were super responsive to all contact anytime I had concerns or questions. I sent them frequent photos and videos of their fur and feathered babies and they were super appreciative. Pepita the cat is very attached to humans and affectionate and will give you so much in return. And the chickens are quite adorable and enjoy being held also. There’s lots of staff around to take care of any other issues that arise. I highly recommend them and I’m happy to speak with anyone who would want further information
