Looking for Italy lovers who like to look after our Countryhouse and 3 cats

About this assignment

We are looking for a couple to look after our property from approx. november 8 2025 till the 2nd week of January 2026.

We expect you to take care for our 3 cats, to keep our garden tidy and to regularly make an inspection-tour around the property and alert us if you notice anything is wrong.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Your main task is being a stand-in/substitute for us. This means that you take care of our cats, keep an eye on the property and inform us when you encounter any difficulties with the appliances, solve minor problems and eventually do some cleaning work in garden if and when necessary.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our country house is at a stunning location in the beautiful region Le Marche and within walking distance of a village with about 900 inhabitants and a cosy bar. We are in the vicinity of sea and mountains, all kinds of villages and towns to visit and a lot of nice restaurants to have a delicious meal. There are also lots of hiking and cycling possibilities in the vicinity.

The house is a country house with five holiday apartments which we have been letting out for 15 years now during the long Italian summer seasons. During wintertime business is closed and the apartments are not rented out. You will stay in our biggest apartment with every comfort and you can enjoy all the beauty that the region has to offer!

The house has a good strong wifi connection so working remote is possible.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Utilities, water, Gas( heating) and electricity are charged € 175 a month. This is a fraction of the actual monthly cost for the entire property.

A car is necessary to arrive at the house and to travel around in the region. Public transport is limited and taxi's or Uber are not available.

We adhere a non smoking policy so No smoking inside

If you like working in the garden, you can certainly enjoy our spacious grounds.

Can I bring my own pets?
