House in Hungary with cats and a pony

About this assignment

We are hoping to find someone to care for our house and beloved pets while we are away. We live in a house with a large property in a village in Hungary, 40 minutes from Budapest. We have two lovely cats (Roger and Jingles) and a pony called Cifra.

We hope that our house could provide a good destination for someone this winter, and that we will have peace of mind that the animals will be well cared for.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Caring for the cats is simple - they need food and water and lots of love.

Cifra, the pony, and the two sheep need fresh water daily, some hay and love and attention. Cifra loves to go for walks but is also happy to graze on the property.

What are the good features of the property and location

The house is fully equipped, and the room where you will stay is an guest room during the rest of the year. The village, Pázmánd, is quiet and tranquil.

Budapest is a 40 minutes from train/car ride away, and Székesfehervar is the closest large town. Lake Velence is 10 minutes away.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

This will be an adventure! Experience rural Hungary during the Christmas season. A house sitter should be willing to spend time outside in order to care for the pony and sheep.
