About this assignment
Anyone interested in taking care of Sushi and Café, 8 and 7 yo male cats while enjoying our 2 bedroom apartment in Almada, very close to Lisbon.
The cats have very different energies so you'll have the best of both worlds.
Sushi is shy but gets very affectionate once he gets to know you. Café is completely friendly, a funny and clumsy little guy who'll be either chilling or looking around for stuff to mess with.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Ideally, Sushi and Café eat 3 times a day, but 2 is also feasible. So if you'd like to adventure through the city, you can just feed them in the morning and night. Cleaning their box is a must, at least once a day. Some interaction would be nice, and I bet it'll be irresistible as they're two cute little guys ;)
What are the good features of the property and location
Close to Lisbon (15min by car, close access to public transportation), super chill neighborhood, apt is right in front amof an Auchan, and walking distance from everything else. You'll have everything you need, plus two cats to make you company :)
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
The only major requirement is to remember to keep some doors closed as Café shouldn't have access to all house rooms all the time (he enjoys breaking stuff)
Can I bring my own pets?

Sushi and Café
i've spent about a month with Sushi and Café, two sweet, lively and quite charming felins. Sushi was a little suspicious to begin with, but soon took confidence and was looking for cuddles. Café was doing more his own thing. however once he trusted me, he too came up on my lap and enjoyed being stroked. they are both great company and i did miss them once i'd left. Marianne and Alex are very kind hosts. though they were busy putting the final touches to their upcoming wedding, they were nevertheless available helping me out with various queries and challenges. neither the beach nor the city of lisbon are far and easily accessible with public transport. staying in Almada gave me the opportunity to discover more of the "other side" of the river Tejo. thank you marianne and alex for trusting me with your two adorable family members. it was a pleasure spending time with them!

Marianne und Alexandru sind hervorragende Gastgeber. Sie haben mich sehr liebevoll empfangen, sodass ich mich gleich wohlgefühlt habe. Ihre Wohnung ist wunderbar, mit einem schönen Arbeitsplatz, und alles war fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation war während der ganzen Zeit perfekt. Und nun die Stars des Hauses: Sushi und Café, zwei Kater, die im Sturm mein Herz eroberten. Sie waren mal frech, mal lieb und stets hungrig. Ihr Lieblingsplatz war unter der Decke, vorzugsweise im Bett, aber auch auf dem Sofa haben sie sich gerne angekuschelt. Sie machten weder Mühe noch Probleme. Wer mit zwei hinreißenden Katern einige Zeit verbringen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Es war mir eine Freude, und wenn ich darf, komme ich sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank an Marianne und Alexandru, dass sie mir ihre Wohnung und ihre Lieblinge für diese wertvolle, schöne Zeit anvertraut haben.
