Countryside experience in Abruzzo, looking after 4 cats

About this assignment

We are Claudio&Elisa, a 40 year old couple, that 4 years ago moved from the North of Italy to this beautiful piece of land in Abruzzo.
For Christmas time we are going to visit our families, so we are looking for one or two trustable and cat lovers people, who love nature and simple life.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

What we ask is only to give love and feed our 4 cats, 3 times a day (if it happens that you can only 2 times, we have a friend that can come to feed them).
Only Ninni, the grey cat, should sleep inside with you.
We would like to receive daily updates about how everything is it going.
It is also important to keep the places tidy and clean.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our property of 3 hectares is sorrounded by nature, with an amazing view on the mountains and the sea.
The village of Monteodorisio in only 5 minutes walking and there are regular buses to Vasto and the beach.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

We are buildind our house with wood, clay and straw but is not ready jet, so we live in a van.
Your accomodation is an old van, provided with electricity, heating and hot water.
The kitchen is out of your door, under the same shelter.
The wc is an outside compost toilet.
Coming here you are going to live an authentic rural experience, in contact with Nature; we don't have television but a beautiful starry sky to see and the sound of birds, crickets, foxes, etc.
If you are afraid of darkness or insects this is not the place for you.
We don't have any wi-fi but do have good mobile coverage.

Can I bring my own pets?
