Key duties: monitor thermostat (55°F+), check pipes to prevent freezing, shovel snow, and handle minor repairs (e.g., leaky faucets). I seek a responsible individual with a low footprint—no parties, minimal guests.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Other duties will include upkeep, security checks, garden/lawn and possible management of repair projects that arise. Prepare owner's car prior to their return (ie ensure battery is charged and registration requirements met - expenses paid by owner). Weatherization winter/summer.

Spacious home. Good heating and cooling with good winter sun inside. Garage space for your car. Straightforward maintenance. Good HOA keeps streets clear of snow.
