About this assignment

Clean. Tidy. Non smokers. A couple would be great. Must love dogs. It would suit a couple who would love to explore the countryside.

I need to go and visit my mother in South Africa and have not yet booked the flight. I will book the flight once I find someone so at the moment the dates I have provided are largely dependant on what works for you. But I am looking to go for 16 to 21 weekdays (that is how much leave I have).

Oh, the house has a lovely wood burning fire and I have some logs that you can use.

Microwave, oven, dishwasher, clothes washer, tumble drier, fridge, freezer etc. are all here.

Just ask if you have any questions as I am sure I might have forgotten something important.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed dogs in the morning. Feed cat in morning and evening. Walk dogs in local forest. Keep place tidy. Just enjoy yourselves.

What are the good features of the property and location

It is on a S6 bus route that takes 15 minutes to get into Botley, Oxford. Then it is an easy walk from there to get past the railway station and into the city of Oxford. I will give plenty of tips to local English pubs and let you know of the best places for pastries, burgers etc. Oh and the best places to get a steak for home braai or BBQ. Oh I also know the best places for a traditional Sunday roast.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It would be handy if you have a car but if you don't, it does not matter as the bus service (Stagecoach is online) into Oxford is great if you want to go and explore.
