NYE Week house/pet sitter needed near Pasadena

Looking for a responsible house/pet sitter to stay with my senior dog and two cats for the week of NYE 2025. Home is conveniently located 10 minutes from Pasadena and 20 minutes from the Rose Parade. Walkable community with lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Care for cats and dog. The cats are fed 2x daily, and require little else (aside from a warm lap to snuggle on occasionally). The dog is also fed 2x daily, takes arthritis medication with each meal. He’s very good about taking it and it’s not any trouble to administer. He can go for walks but his mobility is limited so he only goes about 1-3 blocks each walk.

What are the good features of the property and location

Home is conveniently located 10 minutes from Pasadena and 20 minutes from the Rose Parade. Walkable community with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Excellent WiFi for remote work, and comfortable living space with big screen tvs and streaming services. Home has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, central air, all new appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer, stove, fridge).

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Must be responsible and responsive, daily updates on the pets are appreciated. Trash cans need to go out on Tuesday morning, litter scooped daily, otherwise the house is pretty self sufficient. If this works out, we would love to have someone who comes for future dates as well.
