About this assignment

We're looking for reliable, clean, discrete, good communicators, who love dogs and are happy to be in northern Utah, near Salt Lake City, over Thanksgiving week.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitters will need to walk our dog (Maya, 10 year old border healer mix), and keep her company, and keep the house clean and tidy so it is ready for us when we return. That's about it!

What are the good features of the property and location

Nice, quiet, new, apartment building. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Walkable to supermarkets, bistro, multiple restaurants, and other amenities, and close (within 20 minute drive) of anything you might need (movies, CostCo, music, bars, etc). 25 minutes drive from downtown Salt Lake City. Apartment building has gym and yoga room, fire pit, playground, lots of grassy areas. Apartment is recently renovated, everything works, clean and warm, with a nice sunny balcony for afternoon sun. Good third-floor views over athletic fields belonging to a church. Near base of Little Cottonwood Canyon for hiking, skiing, and so on.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

This assignment is over thanksgiving week. We're traveling out of the country to visit our grown children so we won't be able to return quickly if we have to, so reliability is key.
