Winter in 3 bedroom modern home in rural village

About this assignment

We are looking for a couple, with plenty of initiative, a sense of adventure and good communication skills. But will consider friends. This is a winter sit. Its not romantic. All sitters must be able to deal with occasional electricity and water cuts which happen in rural Bulgaria. Not everyday, not every week but they can occur for a few hours or a day. You need to enjoy a rural existence in a small village with mainly elderly residents speaking only Bulgarian. Google translate and a smile works wonders.
We need practical people who can roll up their sleeves and get on with it. You need to be able to entertain yourself or work from home.
We accept only non-smoking. Our house is 100% non smoking.
Due to stairs and the garden, sitters must be reasonably fit and active.
In winter its out in the garden snow shovelling. We have a large garden but only around the house needs cleared. Evenings are Netflix lying on the sofa snuggled under a blanket. Our house can get cold. You need to lite the wood stove and move the electric heater to the rooms you are in ie the bedroom overnight.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

To maintain the property in the tidy condition we give it.
We want it back the same.
Maintenance of the garden
Warming the house in winter.
To feed "our" cat who is a stray and turns up
We'd need sitters to turn up at least the night before

What are the good features of the property and location

We have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in a modern spacious home.
We are less than 1 hour from sofia airport along the A2 highway.
We have a large garden with BBQ area and reading pavilion in summer and a garden room full of windows and a wood stove in winter.
We have a dedicated office with 5G Internet as we work from home.
Our village has a church, post office, cafe and shop.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

This is a rural property in a small village in the middle of no where. You will need a car. We dont provide a car. You'll need to hire one. It is possible to get here by local bus 2km away and then raxi but it's very infrequent, and without transport, you'd be just in a village. This is not recommended ? previous sitters have struggled being stuck.
Rural Bulgarians are don't speak other languages other than Russian. We do have one close neighbour who has a holiday home next door who speaks English. There are three other English-speaking couples in the village.
Bulgaria can be hot in summer (July and august) 35oC+ and minus -10 °C in Winter
Our house can be hot so we have air fans no AC or you just swing in the garden hammock
It can be cold in winter so we have a wood stove and electric heaters and tend to move to the two lower floors.
We are rural. It can get lonely; you need to have hobbies.
We love it here but it's not for someone who cannot entertain themselves.
Due to steep steps and numerous stairs we prefer adult sitters.
