About this assignment

We are looking for an open-minded, reliable, easygoing, careful person (or a couple or family) who has experience with dogs and appreciates simplicity, tranquillity and nature.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The house sitter looks after our pets (dog and fish), houseplants, garden and house while we are away. We walk our dog twice a day (at least an hour and a half in total). The sitter collects our mail and takes care of any minor issues that may arise.

What are the good features of the property and location

Scuol is located in Engadin, a popular vacation region in the mountains. Scuol is a village with approximately 2,300 inhabitants spread across a large area in several hamlets. Tourists come here to ski or hike and to enjoy nature. Nevertheless, it has everything (and much more...) that a person needs. We go about our daily lives on foot or by public transportation.
The house has 5 bedrooms, a kitchen/living room, a bathroom, shower/toilet, separate toilet, garden seating area, and a wonderful view of the mountains.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

If you're afraid of mountains, this isn't the place for you. What's more, the Lower Engadine isn't a party region and the nearest town, fast food, noise, and polluted air are far away. However, there are more than enough cultural activities of a quieter nature to enjoy.
