I am looking for a competent, trustworthy person to look after my two 12-year-old cats, who are very sweet and easy to care for, as well as my apartment, while I am away.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The usual tasks need to be done: feeding, checking and cleaning the toilets, occasionally watering the flowers, feeding the fish, and entertaining the two of them a little, including brushing them if desired.

What are the good features of the property and location

The apartment is located in a somewhat quieter district of Essen, is 56 square meters in size, has a balcony, is attractive and clean, offers good public transport connections, and has a wonderful, expansive view of greenery and the Ruhr River. Naturally, everything your heart desires and everything you need for a pleasant life is available and can be used.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

I am currently planning a 5-week trip starting in early December and intend to change my life next year and travel more frequently and for longer periods of time. I can leave the two of them alone for a few days, but I don't feel comfortable leaving them for several weeks. If you need to be away for a few days yourself, there is a nice family here who can look after them. So I am looking for someone to live in my apartment during that time and take care of them.
