About this assignment

Cat loving, mature-minded, focused and responsible, experienced pet and house sitter, with a kind-heart; someone who can take care of the cats and give them attention, while keeping the house clean and tidy each day, and providing regular updates with photo/video. You should be clean and tidy, able to communicate well in English, able to listen actively, follow instructions and maintain the established routine and organization of the home.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Attention to care for cats, clean water daily or twice daily as needed, good twice daily, supervise meals, playtime and time with the cats, taking the garbage out in the morning and at the end of the evening, and daily housekeeping each morning before breakfast (wipe down surfaces, sweep, clean sand bins, vacuum as needed, keep dishes clean and put away at all times, take out trash etc.)

What are the good features of the property and location

The home is small, bright, housekeeping does not take long and is straightforward.

Location is walkable, most items and nice tavernas. nature and hiking are right outside your door, the next village is also walkable or a 2-3 minute bus ride away, with more of what you might need, the city is just 20-30 minutes away by bus.

Reputed as one of the most beautiful villages in south of Europe and Greece, our village is green, verdant with traditional homes, ancient churches, monasteries, and beautiful views everywhere.

The photos show some of our cat family, all well-trained, sterilised and used to human companionship, life with them is calm and quiet.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It is important to be neat and clean, and well organised and able to listen well and follow instructions.

As this is home to a multiple cats, not just one, it is important to adhere to the usual routine and be respectful of the request for daily house cleaning, and a quick tidy up at night. As is the case with any pet sit, there should be good communication with the host, don’t hesitate to ask for questions or help.

Note please that these are indoor cats, they must stay indoors at all times.
