Full House In the Gatineau Hills

About this assignment

We're looking for someone who will give attention to our little menagerie of pets. We have 2 dogs, 4 cats, fish and a few chickens.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walk the dogs at least once a day. Chickens need to be checked on daily but only really require feeding/watering on a weekly basis - and you get fresh eggs every day! The cats only really need cuddles and someone to open the door for them - they do need to be let in at night.

What are the good features of the property and location

We live in a beautiful, forested area. We have forest trails starting from our backyard, and are walking distance to the Gatineau park with all it has to offer. We're also very close to the Old Chelsea village with its pub and Nordique Spa, and only 10 to 15 minutes drive from downtown Ottawa.
The house itself is very comfortable, with a hot tub, infrared sauna, high speed internet, large tv with all the subscription services.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It's a lot of pets, so it's not for everyone! Our house is also very much lived in - country style, all modern amenities but full and busy.

Can I bring my own pets?
