House/dog sitter

About this assignment

I'm looking for someone to stay with my friend's boxer and my golden. I have a dog door and a fenced yard, so other than getting them out on a daily basis they entertain themselves. The boxer's] owner works long hours. Normally she picks up the boxer in the evenings and drops him off in the morning. On weekends she usually takes them both which would allow a sitter do so something on their own.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

My dogs are use to going to beach, hikes, and having someone in and out during the day. They get along with other dogs and are very good off leash. It's important that a sitter is willing to do that on a daily basis.

What are the good features of the property and location

I live in South Portland Maine which is a 5 minute drive to downtown Portland. There's walking and cycling trails and open space less than a 5 minute walk, including a beach that's a 10 minute walk. There's restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. It's in a very desirable part of the Portland area.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Anyone interested needs to be willing to get them out on a daily basis. They are fine by themselves for most of the day as long as they can get some exercise once or twice a day.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: No cats but other dogs are welcome as long as they are good with other dogs.
