Pet and house sitter wanted

someone experienced with dogs, reliable and responsible, should be in touch with us regularly and have an eye on things, used to living in remote places.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Take care of our dog Ursula and our four cats, heat the house regularly and correctly (to avoid mould), water a few pots. Keep an eye on things (are there any leakages in the drip system, holes in the road etc.)

What are the good features of the property and location

It's a spacious 3-bedroom house with a kitchen, bathroom, second bathroom with toilet only and living room. It's located in the middle of nature, very quiet and peaceful. We use only biodegradable to toiletries, heat the house with the wooden stove, one of the toilets is a compost toilet and we save water whenever possible (in winter we use rain water from our rain water tank).

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It's a remote location. You can't get anywhere without a car (if necessary, we can provide one, if you can bring your own, that's fine too)
