About this assignment

We are looking for like minded dog lovers who understand the first priority is our dogs well being-safety, food, and companionship. Couples and families are welcome, and we hope that you can keep in mind that are dogs are generally not left alone for more than 4-5 hours at a time.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

One walk a day for the dogs, and general house duties like getting mail and taking garbage out. Pick up the dog poop and water the plants if its summertime.

What are the good features of the property and location

We have a 3bed, 2b house in a convenient and friendly neighborhood about 10 miles northeast of Los Angeles in San Gabriel. Walking distance to supermarkets (Trader Joes )and coffee shop, and near the best Asian food. We have a large enclosed backyard yard with fruit trees and non heated swimming pool. You can stay in our Guest bedroom/bathroom w/fast wifi, washer/dryer, heat and air,& robo vac for the dog hair:) Tourist attractions of Los Angeles: Shopping, parks, beaches and hiking are between 15-45 minutes away. About 5 miles to Old Town Pasadena, and 2.5 miles to Metro Link , an easy metro ride to DTLA or Hollywood area.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Dogs are generally not left alone for more than 4-5 hours at a time. There are coyotes in the area so small dog needs to be under supervision even in the yard. There is a dog door so the Bernedoodle can come and go as needed. They are allowed on the furniture and not allowed people food-but treats are okay.
