About this assignment

A responsible person that is able to deal with home issues (it’s not a normal event) a work from home or retired person. Oso likes having a person around. He is very social with people (and vocal too ????) I prefer to have a sitter arrive a day before I leave. And to stay a day after (flight delays happen)

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Give Oso his morning medications - it’s easy - on a spoonful of PB. He free feeds - so just make sure the bag isn’t empty. Collect mail. Water the indoor plants. If summer, monitor the garden in case the drip doesn’t keep up. Keep the hot tub full of water. Oso can be left for 6-8 hr at a time, but not daily. He has a dog door into the back yard. Take the trash to the curb. Simple yard stuff (I have a yard guy biweekly)

What are the good features of the property and location

Comfortable home. Amazing kitchen to cook in. Fast WiFi. Covered patio with infrared heaters. Hot tub. Outdoor kitchen with bbq. Short walk through the neighborhood to the downtown. Short walk to the Saturday growers market (in season) nice mattress and assorted pillows to choose from. Friendly, helpful neighbors. I have a housekeeper that comes in biweekly.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

It’s a home, with potential home issues. Able to deal with contacting plumber, electric etc as needed. The home is in good repair

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
