About this assignment
I am looking for a caring person to watch over my beloved French bulldog Jax and my cherished home during the Christmas period 2026
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
To look after Jax - love him, exercise him, groom him and regular clean his bedding using a washing machine. I am very house proud so would appreciate a dog sitter to keep the house looking as it always does - there are a few indoor plants that require minimal attention - the garden is cared for by a gardener.
What are the good features of the property and location
The house is immaculate with good heating system. It is close to local shops - walking distance and to the town. It has a famous castle with surrounding dog friendly pubs and cafes
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
The local transport are buses - and trains to Leamington Spa. Jax sleeps downstairs at night and will sleep from 10.30pm-8am - I do not like to leave Jax for more than 4 hours at any given time and no more than once a day.

He's a lovely companion when you're working from home. Patiently waiting for you to get up and have another play in the garden! Kenilworth is worth more than one visit. There's so much to see; the castle in particular! There are lots of historic sites all around, great for hours of exploring. Public transport is within reach: twenty minutes from the airport, with trains and buses within walking distance. There's a supermarket in the neighbourhood and a larger one in town, both easy to walk to. There are lovely places to have a coffee or tea, most of them dog-friendly. When in doubt: let Jax point the way! Dominique is very easy to communicate with. Manuals and videos are all ready and prepared for your stay. A Welcome Guide, both in print and digital form, will be there. The house is tastefully decorated and clearly her pride and joy. Every time I come back, I immediately feel at home in Kenilworth. It's an honour and a pleasure to take care of Jax and his beautiful home!
