Our cats are littermates and look very much alike. After seven years, we still occasionally can’t tell them apart. They are most easily identified by behavior. Gucci (we call her Gooch), is very lovable. Molly takes a while to warm up to strangers.

About this assignment
Looking for a non-smoker to feed and water our cats, Molly and Gooch, while we’re away. They are 100% indoor cats. We live in an apartment so there’s no maintenance beyond day-to-day tidiness.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Doling out food and treats to the cats, keeping their water fountain full, and daily cleaning of (2) litter boxes. Cuddles and play time as requested.
What are the good features of the property and location
We are ideally located in Caldas da Rainha, Portugal, an hour north of Lisbon. Very easy to get to by bus or car. Within walking distance of everything. Grocery stores, bus station, restaurants, fruit market, the park, the veterinarian. The apartment is a large, sunny, and comfortable space, on the fourth floor of a building with an elevator.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
This should be an easy sit. Our cats feed on demand so there is no feeding schedule to maintain. However, they are pretty strict about their 8pm treat time. Without opposable thumbs, they can’t get to the treats by themselves.
Can I bring my own pets?

Laura and Jim are really kind people, and their cats Molly and Gooch are angels. their location is very ideal and their apartment is well equipped and very easy to settle into. if you’re looking for a peaceful sit, i highly recommend them and look forward to sitting for them again in the future!
