About this assignment

I’m looking for somebody whom I can trust with almost everything I hold dear. Somebody who likes things tidy and doesn’t mind being a bit off the beaten path.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feed Bobbi the dog and Gustav the cat. Make fire to keep the house warm and be there to make sure that the house is still standing.

It’s an old wooden farm house it needs warmth to stay in good shape.
And also pock up the mail.

What are the good features of the property and location

It’s a farm house that is by a large lake and on the edge of nature reserve. There are cross country ski tracks nearby. There is plenty of places to take a hike and the sea is just a 10 minutes drive away.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You need to enjoy your own company unless you travel with someone else. If you like to carry wood, throw a bit of snow and such - all the better. It’s great if you have a car, but there are also busses that can take you from the nearest road (200 meters away)

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: Bobbi would be DE-LI-GHTED. we operate dog hotel in the summer and she loves company of other dogs.
