About this assignment

We are retired Germans, looking for long term sitters for our 4 lovely dogs in Guanajuato Capital from April 22nd until 9th of November (end might be flexible). Our house is located in Valenciana high above the city, surrounded by sierra and a lake nearby.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Walking our dogs mornings, evenings and shortly middays into the sierra or immediate neighbourhood. No leashes. Feeding twice a day after coming home from the walks. Cuddling with them on sofas and the like would be very welcome. Water potted terrace plants twice a week or as needed.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our house might not be so fancy as the ones in San Miguel de Allende or Lake Chapala region - but the location is unmatched with beautiful unobstructable views over the whole city and beyond as well as the pristine sierra behind us. Public bus stops and turns around right in front of our driveway. In case you bring your own vehicle we can provide ample parking..

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

This sit is not well siuted for singles so we look for a couple or family.
You can bring your own dog(s) as well.
At least one person needs to stay at home every night.
The whole stay exceeds the maximum FMM visa duration of 180 days, therefore Mexican residency is required.

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
