Sweet kitty needs love for 2 months in suburban Philadelphia

About this assignment

Desi is an easy 5 year old tabby who sleeps alot. But when she wants attention, she will let you know! She is very chatty and likes you to talk to her, pet her and give treats. You can leave for 8 hours some days, but she is used to me being at home. If you sit on the couch, she may climb onto your lap. Desi is a people cat, and very social. She warms up to people quite quickly.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Desi has an automatic feeder and water fountain. She gets wet food each morning when you wake up or when she wakes you up with her meows. Clean water fountain once a week. Scoop litter box once a day. Give treats in the evening.

What are the good features of the property and location

My 3 story townhouse was just renovated and is very beautiful, clean and modern. I'm a decorator and my home is warm and cozy with a fireplace inside and also on the deck. You must be comfortable with stairs. Laundry is in the basement. Outside deck is large with a porch swing and lounge chairs against a wall of trees. I have great WIFI and there's a desk in your bedroom if you are a remote worker.
Located near endless shopping, restaurants and parks. You need a vehicle to get around but the train station is 10 minutes away. Train takes you into Philadelphia to all of the historic sites, museums and cultural events. Come and celebrate 250 years as a country! We have great sporting events here including the soccer tournaments. Visit Valley Forge park where George Washington spent a winter with troops only 20 minutes from here. So much to see and do!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

You must be able to be here March 8 for instructions and stay until I return on May 1. My son lives nearby so he can come and cover for you if you need to leave a few days before. He can also be your point of contact if you have any issues with the house or Desi. I will be on a transatlantic cruise and then staying in Europe.
