I want to know that my cat has quality time with you each day in morning and then later-even if you need to leave for hours- A routine is helpful/
Keep my house clean in condition you find it. She seems to prefer females and can scare with more than one person. If I felt very comfortable and with permission, I may allow guests but would prefer to get to know someone before extending that offer of trust. Safety and security of house is a must as well as your references.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Not much. Try to sleep, cuddle, with Miss Emma and let her in and out of the house. Keep my home secure and neat. Like doors shut when AC is on.
Food and water each day. Minimal care of litter box as she is an in and outside cat. Sometimes you must walk up and down long driveway calling her to get her to walk with you or come to you. Cat goes in and out. She needs a door opener!

What are the good features of the property and location

On 4 acres, quiet. 3 miles from a small town which is south of Charlotte,NC

Big windows to see outdoor nature. A quiet, safe retreat.A goldfish pond.
Downstairs apartment is where you will sleep with bathroom and mini kitchen and patio entrance..great neighbors who keep an eye on my house.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

NOTE: the dates I am setting are a big tentative block but I only want shorter stay sitters. I don’t have the particular set dates as I will be securing pet sitter jobs myself to match time frames . My cat can meow a lot when stressed so your attunement will calm her. She knows - like a dog- if someone really cares about her. She's watching you even as she seems to ignore you. She and I both want someone who will sit where she can get on your lap and get head scratches from you a few times a day. On occasion she will throw up undigested food so you must be aware in case clean up is needed.
