Modern well-located home in heart of Denver backing to park & trail

About this assignment

We are looking for a responsible, attentive, caring and clean dog lover who leaves a place nicer than they found it. Ideally, you'll have a nice flow to your day that doesn't have you away from the home too long - but certainly long enough to enjoy everything Denver offers (think no longer than 6-8 hours). Duke is very low-key and easy to care for. He loves being scratched and pet!

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Responsibilities are pretty minimal but important. Most notably, please take good care of Duke. He gets fed twice a day. He has a doggie door, so no need to take him outside. And we clean up after we get back. If you want to take him on a walk, feel free for up to a mile, but it is not imperative. And just care for the home certainly - making sure to clean up after yourself.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is only 8 years old and is our dream home. It is situated on the highline canal (80+ mile walking trail through Denver) and backs to a great Denver park. It is conveniently located about 10 minutes from DTC and 20 minutes from downtown with grocery stores and food about a mile or less away. You'll have your own private suite with king bed and view of the park. We lock off our offices due to being remote workers but there is ample room for you to spread out if you want to work from home. And we have a great kitchen if that inspires you.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The biggest considerations are listed in what we are looking for in a house sitter - someone to care for our yellow lab, be extremely responsible and caring. We do not want parties at the house - no smoking of anything anywhere on the property.
