Estamos buscando a alguien que ame la naturaleza, los animales y el silencio. Alguien con conocimientos basicos de bricolaje y ganas de vivir una experiencia offgrid.

We are looking for someone who loves nature, animals and silence. Someone that has some basic manual skills and a desire to have an offgrid experience.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Tendría que hacerse cargo de la finca. Principalmente dar de comer a los perros y cariño a las ovejas. En verano, es también necesario regar con nuestro sistema semiautomático.

The task is to take care of the property. Mainly to feed the dogs and look after the few sheep we have (although they are quite independent). In the drier season, watering the garden with our semi-automatic system is also required.

What are the good features of the property and location

La finca esta en una zona muy tranquila, en plena naturaleza. Tiene olivos, frutales de diferentes variedades, bosque autóctono y es cruzada por un precioso arroyo de aguas cristalinas.
Es ideal para hacer un retiro lejos de la civilización.
En el pueblo mas cercano (a 4km) hay un centro médico, tiendas, restaurantes, bares, y un mercado semanal todos los lunes. A unos 2km hay una preciosa piscina natural.
Para encontrar grandes tiendas y un pueblo mas grande hay que desplazarse 20 minutos.
Aquí puedes disfrutar de la tranquilidad, el contacto directo con la naturaleza, en el corazón de la sierra de Gata. Libre de químicos y contaminantes a tu alrededor. Poder dormir en una casa bioclimática, hecha con piedra, barro y madera.

The property is located in a very quiet area, surrounded by nature. It has olive trees, fruit trees of different varieties, native forest. A beautiful stream with clear water crosses the property.
It is ideal for a retreat away from civilisation.
In the nearest village (4 km away) there is a medical centre, smaller shops, restaurants, bars, and a weekly market every Monday. About 2 km away there is a beautiful natural swimming pool.
To find large shops and a larger town, you have to travel 20 minutes.
Here you can enjoy peace and contact with nature in the heart of the Sierra de Gata. Free from chemicals and pollutants around you.
You can sleep in a bioclimatic house made of stone, clay and wood.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Tener en cuenta que hay ciertas limitaciones.
El pueblo mas cercano está a 4km, por lo que es muy recomendable tener vehículo.
Hay señal 4g de telefonía pero no hay WIFI.
El WC y la ducha estan en la calle.
La electricidad se obtiene con paneles solares y es limitada.
El compromiso a mantener el entorno limpio, sin ningún tipo de contaminantes, químicos, plásticos. Cualquier cosa que no sea orgánica y compostable.
Tener ganas de vivir en el campo.
Tiene que ser hábil para vivir en plena naturaleza alejado de la civilización.
Estaríamos los primeros días contigo para poder enseñarte mejor las tareas y el funcionamiento de las cosas.
